"After more than two decades of intense pictorial work, I have achieved a style that is defined in the field of contemporary aesthetics as a proposal straddling graphic art and abstraction," says Eva Martínez Pifarré, known as Zoe.
Zoe’s brushstroke is very personal and, although it is within the current artistic framework, it always follows an intimate creative impulse. Constantly evolving, for some time now she has been exploring in the search for new forms, the representations of animals from an untraditional brushstroke and not wanting to stick to her area of ??creative comfort. This last theme aims to make the viewer aware of how disconnected we are from nature and ourselves. An artist "has to make the viewer think and that's why sometimes he has to be totally subjective and not make concessions," she says.
"With the intention of always positioning myself in a context of intellectual speculation, I have painted during my career controversial aspects of the female world, uninhabited architectural spaces and now animals."
